Who wore it better?
American socialite Olivia Palermo and Brazilian-Italian actress Gaia Bermani Amaral channeled the masculine runway trend this week, both in stylish suits.
Olivia Palermo attended the 'Midnight in Paris' screening in New York City wearing a simple black suit with cropped pants and a boyfriend blazer. Her rolled up sleeves added a casual feel to the suit. She wore a soft white shirt and loose black tie underneath. Olivia added a dash of leopard print with Charlotte Olympia platform pumps. She also (strangely) carried a perspex clutch, through which all the contents could be seen.
Gaia Bermani Amaral attended the Calvin Klein party in Cannes, wearing a tailored masculine suit. Gaia's midnight blue satin suit also featured cropped pants. She tucked in her buttoned down white shirt, showing off a silver chain belt. Gaia carried a gorgeous bright pink geometric bag by Matthew Williamson for Bulgari. Her look was completed by violet satin double platform pumps by Salvatore Ferragamo.
I like both these looks, but I'm leaning towards Gaia's - probably because of her lovely use of unusually coloured accessories. Which look do you prefer?
